Given the fact of trends and challenges in track construction and maintenance (a.o. demographic change), we explained the need for robotics and automation.
On this basis, we presented the “ROBOT” for automated (switch-) maintenance using robotics and the “ROSPECT” for automated inspection.
During the evening excursion to the light rail tunnel in Karlsruhe, we were able to discuss the interesting questions and comments from infrastructure operators in greater depth.
